地理、語言、藝術和其他各種學科，所有課程都是根據美國的標準所設計的。
對於新一代的孩子們，習慣於用大部分時間停留在電視或電腦螢幕面前。因此相比傳統
教學方式，交互式白板的大螢幕無疑更能吸引學生們的注意力；加之與電腦一樣的交互
性，使得交互式白板成為跨越傳統課堂和未來教室的橋樑。
交互式白板是與電腦和投影機相連的大型交互式顯示設備。當投影機把電腦桌面內容投
影到白板上面時，用戶可以通過特殊電子筆，手指或其它設備在白板界面上操作電腦。
因此，本質上交互式白板是一種觸摸式電腦螢幕。其用途非常廣泛，比如：各類教育機
構的教室，公司和工作團隊會議室，職業運動教練的培訓教室，電視台播音室等等。
基本配置由這三部分組成：白板——觸摸式操控原件，數字投影機，筆記本電腦或台式
PC。其簡單工作原理是：電腦螢幕內容被投影到白板上，白板通過USB線與電腦連接，這
樣用戶就能在白板螢幕上操作電腦。在白板上移動滑鼠指針，就像用滑鼠操作一樣。一
些新技術提出把觸摸操控功能加到大螢幕LCD液晶顯示器上，如果價格降到適合的位置，
最終會替代對數字投影機的需求。
大多數交互式白板並未內建揚聲器，但是通常配置揚聲器和放大器會增強多媒體效果。
因此當教室安裝交互式白板時，揚聲器常常作為推薦配置。
使用配套的軟體，交互式白板可以簡單的作為電腦的輸入設備，用戶只需用手指或筆就
能替代滑鼠控制電腦操作。許多電腦軟體也能在交互式白板上正常的使用。
進入二十一世紀，交互式白板正成為未來型教室的標準配置。在這樣的教室中上課，教
師和學生都樂在其中。

交互式白板是增強學生參與課堂教學的理想平台。由於其獨具的交互式特點，學生們都
興奮和熱切的盼望被叫到白板面前向全班展示自己在課堂上學到的知識。通常對傳統課
堂教學厭煩的學生們，也集中更多注意力於教師和教學主題，因為他們希望能使用到交
互式白板。托尼是北愛爾蘭地區的一名物理教師，他這樣談到使用交互式白板的感受：
「交互式白板非常棒，它能讓學生更積極的參與到課堂教學中。在以前的課堂上，學生
並不願意被叫到在黑板上寫東西，而現在他們卻很積極地參與，甚至寫得更多、更完整

在課堂上她使用交互式白板播放YouTube上的視頻來展示著名建築物，幫助學生學習幾何
中的外形和角度的知識。她說到：「我常用拖拽功能來比較幾何體外形和角的大小，也
常直接在圖片或視頻畫面上勾畫出建築物的外形和角度，非常直觀。」而在卡蕾斯塔老
師的地理課上，交互式白板中展示的是谷歌地圖和谷歌地球。「用手來控制旋轉谷歌地
球，看起來像科幻片，學生們興奮極了。」
另外根據不同的課程和主題，使用交互式白板配有各種顏色的筆，讓教學過程變得五彩
繽紛，更有獨特的魅力。因為，實時運用顏色來改變字體和添加批注的方式強調重點，
更能吸引學生注意力。
潛力的激發
據最近報道證實，交互式白板在課堂教學中的使用能大幅提高學生的成績。特別是對於
學習有困難和成績落後的學生，更能激發他們的學習潛力。羅伊是一位高中教師，班上
大都是有學習障礙的學生。通過在交互式白板上面使用互動教學遊戲，他發現除了學習
參與性提高之外，學生們的一些行為問題也得以減少。「與這類孩子的溝通更容易了，
特別是一些有孤僻症的學生，同時更能吸引多動症孩子的注意力。」教師卡羅爾則認為
